For those who may not have had the opportunity to meet the team during their time in the industry: a quick introduction and explanation of what they represent.

Hannes van Rooyen is the Managing Director of Ability Project Solutions, bringing more than two decades' experience across the retail, corporate leadership, and financial management sectors to the table. His career started within a well-known sports retail group, progressing from a newly qualified PGA Professional and retail shop manager at Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort in the Western Cape, to ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer of the group. He remained with the organization for 14 years, gaining extensive operational and executive experience.

Thereafter, Hannes acquired a shareholding in a company within the pension fund industry, joining initially as Chief Operating Officer. He became Chief Executive Officer after four years. He later sold his shares, to focus fully on the long-held vision of establishing Ability Project Solutions.

While our name references “Projects,” our scope extends across a wide range of sectors. A significant focus of our business is corporate sales and events, supported by tailored project solutions designed to meet specific client needs.

Kerry Mc Carthy has over 20 years of experience in the events industry. She possesses an exceptional skill set and has an extensive network of trusted industry contacts and relationships. Her expertise is a critical pillar of our partnership and the services we deliver.

Together, they believe their combined experience, complementary strengths, and shared values position them uniquely within the market. Their objective is to offer clients a level of service that stands apart; grounded in honesty, transparency, and quality, and driven by determination and a commitment to excellence.
